Wreck Diving Around the UK

If you are interested in diving any of the many wrecks around United Kingdom, make sure that you are familiar with the law regarding material recovered from wrecks

You must also be aware that it is illegal to remove material from protected wreck sites and vessels that are considered war graves.

Before you remove any material from a wreck site you must be sure that it is legal for you to do so - or you risk finding yourself in serious trouble.

Remember, you must report all of your wreck finds to the Receiver or Wreck, it doesn't matter if its a porthole, coin or even a piece of coal.
