Minelab release a new and improved Explorer, the third
generation Explorer SE promises to be lighter and better
balanced, which many users of the the earlier explorer
models will be very happy to hear I'm sure. It is available
from Minelab dealers for around £899 including VAT (if you
can pay cash and are prepared to haggle, you will probably get a
better price from your dealer, or at least get some free
stuff).
