Pulse Induction
Pulse induction (PI) machines offer unparalleled depth -
but this level of sensitivity comes at a price - an almost
total lack of discrimination. You could well find yourself
digging lots of very deep iron targets, making PI machines
unsuitable for many heavily contaminated and inland
underwater sites.
On wet sand in areas of low junk contamination pulse
induction machines are absolutely unbeatable. Most
professional treasure hunters and salvors use PI machines
for all of their underwater work.
Motion
Motion machines lack the sensitivity and depth
penetration of the PI machines, but they do discriminate
which is exactly what you need at most inland underwater
sites and some salt water sites.
